I think he really is better than SRV. But then again I never saw SRV live, so what I'm comparing are the recorded SRV to the live KWS. But Buddy on the other hand... Any price would be worth it but when he's playing next door for free I'm just about pissing my pants. This is a yearly two day event and they always have some major names playing. I can't park any closer than my house and if I took one of the shuttle busses I would have to drive a couple of miles and walk twice as far. This town doesn't have enough people to make up a small Chicago suburb. This is in Sioux Falls SD, a town of about 140K with a generous count. Every year they put on this "jazz" fest with not a jazz musician to be found but a fantastic lineup of blues. Pretty good feat for a little town in the lutefisk belt.
