I have enough neck orders coming in now (everything comes in spurts it seems, leave the innuendo alone here guys LOL!!!!!) that I could easily justify the jointer. I was going to buy the delta 6" table top jointer, but they didn't have one in stock, so I asked what else they had and they showed me a 6" 3 cutter blade (as oppposed to the 2 cutters on the delta) 2hp floor model. It has double the table length that the delta did, twice the power, it weighs 250 pounds and is far more sturdy, and the 3 cutters reduce chatter a lot. It was only $150 more than the delta, so that's what I bought. It's great, I spent an hour or so setting it up and cutting up some spruce and maple and man, I am so happy with it now, screw this hand planing stuff LOL!!!!
