smokeyjocustoms
Hi, I have a question and I cant find the answer on my own. Not for lack of looking either. I bought three pickups and a wiring harness. The wiring harness has three pots and a three way switch. Can someone explain how to wire a three pot with a three way switch... This is my first guitar, I have ever built. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

smokeyjocustoms
I looked there and only found a diagram for a 5 way switch. If I post a pic of the pick ups and the wiring harness maybe someone can screen pic the correct wire placement
Brian
Why not switch to a 5-way so you can have multiple combinations?
Roli
Yea, this way you could make something like the first Strats had (only bridge, middle or neck positions), without the in-between switch positions of the 5-way toggle.
smokeyjocustoms
Thank you for the response. The reason I'm using the three way, is because the wiring harness came with a three way all ready wired up to the volume pot. I'm trying to wire the pick ups to the switch and the tone pots to it.
