Scott Rosenberger
This is a little off topic, but does anyone know where I might find a ten string bridge? you can make one out of a Tune O Matic Bridge by filing string slots into the 4 high saddles
Snork
that 10 string is sick. but just doesnt seem practical to me. i could see flaminco players using it because they need all the strings they can get because they do crazy shiz niz. but reg guys like us.... i dunno. i like the neck thru bitch. but i think building yer own guitar is cheaper and nicer. westhemann
the extra strings only double the existing strings, but an octave higher.it's not like having extra strings really
Snork
yo umean like a 12 string? Whats the point why not just get a full 12? i've seen 10 strinwg guitar without doubling strings. just 10 strings with differenyt notes meant for flaminco players. G_urr_A
About the Body Art series, I don't think the graphics are bad quality, considering the range most ppl will se the guitar from. I wouldn't want the Bitch's Back motive though. Would feel wrong towards my girlfriend. I don't she'd let me take a photo like that of her and put it on a guitar though.... Rodney
The reason it's not a full 12 is this. When you double the bass strings the high strings tend to overshadow the lower ones making the overall tone less full. By leaving the bass strings single you get a much fuller chord tone, plus if your are doing a moving style bass line under chords it sounds much better.
