Hotrock Posted December 9, 2004 Report Share Posted December 9, 2004 Well then, I'll go through my (I think you'll agree) comprehensive range of equipment: 1 Half finished Les Paul double cutaway project 1 Dodgy strat copy that is now a half finished project (got drunk and attacked it with a router - I wouldn't recommend it) 1 Amp that came with the dodgy strat copy (It's aweful, I use it to stop things falling over and haven't plugged it in for about 2 years) That's it but I'm hoping that by the end of 2005, I'll have finished the Les Paul and have built an amp (using one of Ansils kits). winger Posted August 15, 2006 Report Share Posted August 15, 2006 Boss GX700 as the centre of my setup with a Roland FC200 midi footcontroller as switch pedal. BBE 386 acoustic pre amp in the GX's effects return for the “unplugged” moments. (So I can go from acousic to electric with the flick of a switch and can still use all kinds of effects.). Rocktron Banshee talkbox connected to the effects send. Marshall 8008 power amp. For speakers I can use 2 12" wedges as monitors, or when it has to look like something on stage, I can connect 2 4x12's. As far as guitars go I use an Ibanez RG470FMR, 2 Hohner L59 Les Paul copies, a Squire strat, an Aria (nylon string) acoustic and an Ovation Celebrity CC257 Deluxe (steelstring). The electric guitars all go through a Rexer wireless (diversity) system, connected to the rear input of the GX. (Leaving the front input available, in case of a breakdown in the wireless system. prs man Posted August 19, 2006 Report Share Posted August 19, 2006 I have a first year prs artist and a custom 22 with dragon pickups anlong with 4 strat's and 3 tele's that I have made. I also have 2 prs copy I have made that simply rock. Patrick Eggle Vinatge Classic electric - absolutely gorgeous, just waiting for the electrics, but it's payday on Monday so hopefully up and running within a couple of weeks. Here's the spec, mine is a really nice 2 tone grey flamed maple, scraped binding and the back and neck have been painted black in the factory. A cheap 3/4 size classical that cost me £12.50 about 8 years ago. I've never changed the strings and I'm thinking of painting it funkily. Various semi finshed guitars - Les Paul DC with a special neck joint and my polished-turd-ocaster. VOX AD30VT amp - 11 amp models and 11 in built effects. I love this thing, does everything I need and more. Put the bro's girlfriends violin through it last weekend. I've never heard a violin through a Wah before, but it sounded well cool.
