Metallion Posted September 1, 2007 Report Share Posted September 1, 2007 (edited) The Center position of the Ibanez Edge Tremolo Anchor on a 25.5" (647.7mm) scale lies 637mm from the nut according to the Edge manual [Floyd Rose Original 635.000 mm (±0.5 mm) acc. to Stewmac] Is 637mm the case on the (edge) JEM FP? With a 650 scale, do you just move the Anchor position 2.3mm back? Is the Anchor position calculated linear (+ value) or percentual (x value)? It seems to me linear would be the right way because the difference for example between 647,7mm and the corresponding 637mm lie in the distance from the saddle to the knife edge and this distance doesn´t vary with different scale lenghts.
