You are a winner, yhea it is Terry's.That thing is to cool.

Awe man, I love that dude!!! Awesome set!!

Hey Ron, I know I've been out of touch. I've been so busy I can't see straight!!!

The F-holes (or should I say G-holes) are an outstanding idea and look really good!

I would have to say to you trust your gut on what you're doing, you seem to have a very creative thinking process and doing well with it! :D

Ya, that wood in the second pic is indeed Mappa burl. I tried to get some interest around here to buy some actual mappa burl lumber (billets) , but nobody was interested. It is very expensive and usually used for veneer. You can get chunks of it, but have to have it shipped in larger quantities from Italy/Croatia/Germany . .

Thanks man,I am really taking my time ...two reasons...1.It is for someone else and 2. I learned from my first build to stop when I get tired.I have alot more work to do ,I'am going to widen the head stock and lam it and I'am going to take more wood out of the top and reinforse the bridge and pickup area.I sculped the back slitely to give it a little concave effect. The G's in the top are still a little ruff ,so I still have to clean them up.
