soapbarstrat
That home made block making jig is downright scary! Some people get scared way too easily. I built that jig in the early 90's. Sent Dan E a drawing of it and he thought is was a great idea. I wanted some radii that were not even for sale and the jig allowed me to get all the radii I wanted without a whole lot of work (roughing out the radius on a router table is key to keeping it from being too much work). Highlight of these forums is people coming up with jigs and alternatives to just buying pre-made stuff (and many obvious reasons for not buying pre-made stuff, which are brought up all the time) Sometimes my time is worth more than buying, contacting seller about a defective item, then repacking and driving to the post office. Heck of a lot of DIY versions I could make in about the same amount of time as all of that.
