Crackle Finish

Recommended Posts

You need "Vreeble" :D I know it sounds strange, but it's the name of the crackle paint.:

You apply the base color, then spray the Vreeble coat. The thicker you spray it, the wider the cracks get. It's cool to watch it dry. It takes a TON of clear to get it smooth.

if you have translucent printer paper & masking film.

Printout the type of cracks you want,

spray the body with the lighter colour

apply the masking film to the body,

adhere the crackle to the masking film, cut out the cracks and spray dark

or spray lighter colour, draw cracks onto masking film, airbrush dark and clear.
