thus far, the mahogany bass has and has clinched my vote. it's gonna take a miracle to shift that, but i would really like to see one come close or actually do it.

Thanks for the nice comments. I dropped the Southern Pearl off at the store today and put a price tag on her.... :D

I may be going back to pick her up tomorrow and put her in my music room for good now......I should have listened to my wife!

i've used that paint you used on the back before. i love it. granted it was the backdrop for a green/gold shifting potleaf...but still. it's awesome.

i've used the paint many many times. I have to say the most important thing for a great finish is to sand frequently and put many many many many mid coats for maximum color change. also the primer is MUY importante. I dont know how it would fare on a guitar. it chips pretty easy.
