cr_XD
just something that came to my mind: can the crackle be achieved on just a portion of the body, i mean, like a fade but with crackles think it would look cooooool

bluespresence
can the crackle be achieved on just a portion of the body, i mean, like a fade but with crackles Yes! The paint will only crackle where you put the glue. If you glue the center and leave the edges clean you would get a burst crackle. Hmmm, or a Carriburst Crackle, Hmmmmmmmmmm........ PS: I sold this one tonight!!! I still have it since it's not assembled yet and I have to take some final pic's before she goes to her new home.... bluespresence
I finally found time to clear the body. I modified the headstock and added my own logo too. Here's the finished pic's. I still have to finish assembly which will get done today but I wanted to get the pic's done and posted. I used Deft clear nitro instead of poly and it worked fine. I didn't do any wetsanding or polishing as I wanted it to look old and relic'd.
