The Project Guitar.com "Guitar of the Month" contest is a showcase for all the members, so show us your axe in this thread!

This contest is open to any and all members that enter and will be continued each month for a place showing your creation on the homepage!

The winner(s) of course will have his/her guitar featured on the homepage of Project Guitar.com and if you have a website the picture will link directly to it if you so choose (even commercial site's).

If your a forum member you will also be upgraded to a Featured member which allows you to see the Advanced Chat section and download area.

So show us your creation in this thread! You've got till sometime around the 23rd or 24th of September then this thread gets locked and the voting starts!

Any Post that is not an entry will be deleted, feel free to start a new thread to discuss any guitar entered this month

There may be more then one poll to determine winners in different catagorys at the end of this contest!

Please post a maximum of your 4 best pictures per guitar entered

Make sure Your Guitar has a Name or Nick Name as well otherwise one will be given to it :D

Side note, if you are unable to post a picture you can e-mail one to Brian and it will be posted for you, or ask forum members how to post pictures, they are very helpful.

7 String MultiScale 27.5 - 25.5" with 27 frets

5 Piece Laminated body

Black Limba / Cocobolo / Wenge / Cocobolo / Black Limba

Magnet wood cavity cover.

Neck:

5 Piece Laminated neck reverse headstock.

Custom Tortoise Inlay in the 12th fret position, made from MOP and Cocobolo.

24 frets 7 strings multiscale (24.75"-27") in ergonomic style

THE SHERIFF

About:

The Sheriff is the first of a series of western themed guitars. It's a thin hollow body guitar that's made up of some interesting woods: Anigre, Spalted Maple, Texas Ebony (Pithecolobium flexicaule) and Walnut from a door company. Besides the pickups and the electronics everything else was handmade. Next guitar will be the Outlaw!

Spalted Maple Top Walnut back

Recurved top

Neck:

5 Piece Laminated

Anigre and Walnut

Texas Ebony plate and truss rod cover

MOP sheriff star Inlay in the 12th fret position

Bridge is handmade from Texas Ebony and bone

I humbly submit my first build.

The Dimple

Its named after a small flaw in the finish.

Body

2 piece mahogany.

1.5" thick. Mild burst done in water based hand rubbed dye.

Finished in clear nitrocellulose lacquer.

Brass inserts and machine screws in cavity cover.

Copper shielding.

Neck

5 piece laminate, maple/walnut.

Mahogany truss cover.

Graphite nut.

MOP markers

Ebony fingerboard.

2 way truss.

24.75 scale/22 frets

Hardware

Duncan TB-14 bridge/ SH-2 jazz neck

One tone, one volume, 500k pots .049 cap

3 way toggle switch

Gotoh Tune-O-matic bridge & tailpiece and 510 med 18/1 tuners.

Schaller straplocks.

The guitar weighs in at roughly 6.5 lbs.
