clamps

the bandages idea was innovative!! my dad made clamps like the shop made clamps, except using stud bar etc... to clamp it up, the hammering of wedge in looks like it could damage the workpiece.

Because if you already have a drill-press and scraps of wood around, you can make a batch of them in the same time it would take to fill out an order on the internet. Then you'd already be using them long before ones you would order would arrive a week or so later.

About the only thing that really slows me down these days is ordering and waiting for already made tools to arrive. Plus, I sometimes have to send some back, because they are not made as well as advertised.
