This contest is open to any and all members that enter and will be continued each month for a place showing your creation on the homepage! The winner(s) of course will have his/her guitar featured on the homepage of Project Guitar.com and if you have a website the picture will link directly to it if you so choose (even commercial site's). If your a forum member you will also be upgraded to a Featured member which allows you to see the Advanced Chat section and download area. So show us your creation in this thread! You've got till sometime around the 23rd or 24th of June then this thread gets locked and the voting starts! Any Post that is not an entry will be deleted, feel free to start a new thread to discuss any guitar entered this month There may be more then one poll to determine winners in different catagorys at the end of this contest! Please post a maximum of your 4 best pictures per guitar entered Make sure Your Guitar has a Name or Nick Name as well otherwise one will be given to it Side note, if you are unable to post a picture you can e-mail one to Brian and it will be posted for you, or ask forum members how to post pictures, they are very helpful. Jaden Posted June 16, 2011 Report Share Posted June 16, 2011 I made this one for myself so dont feel bad about entering The Boss mahogany body with slab wenge top wenge and purpleheart 5 laminate, one piece neck ebony fingerboard stainless jescar frets DiMarzio's hipshot bridge and locking tuners no photoshop trickery or colour changing, just background removal. hooglebug Posted June 20, 2011 Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 Sakura Hanami mahogany body core topped with flamed maple, backed with lightly rippled sycamore top and back carved inside and out leaving the guitar almost hollow mahogany neck with ebony fretboard horn and mother of pearl sakura fretboard/body inlay/soundhole subtle sakura kanji 12th fret inlay sunset rose transparent metallic finish gotoh hardware bare knuckle mule pickups kindly donated by tim mills from bare knuckle proceeds from the sale of this japanese themed guitar will go to help the victims of the japanese earthquake/tsunami earlier this year. the proceeds will be split between shelterbox and the red cross. This is a few years and quite a few builds later. You can see all the progress pics on my BLOG Name: #36 Body- Chambered Tasmanian Blackwood back, Figured Tasmanian Oak top (tobacco stained) Neck- Indian Rosewood Fingerboard- Figured maple, 25.5" scale, 22 medium SS frets, 12" radius Electronics- TV Jones Classic Plus bridge, Handwound Alnico V P90 neck 7.98k, vol/tone/3way Hardware-Grover tuners, Gotoh Stoptail/TOM Logo/truss cover/jack plate all hand cut/polished aluminum.
