Icenii Posted June 23, 2016 Report Share Posted June 23, 2016 Hi gents/ ladies This is my first attempt at anything like this so I simply bought a cheapo Chinese Firebird kit. I was not expecting too much but it appears to be a good little project. Ive just completed the wiring as per attached diagram if uploaded correctly. 2 mini humbuckers, 2 vol and 2 tone etc. All values are as per diagram. Sounds way better than expected through my Peavey 6505 plus. Trouble is both tones appear to be either on or off....no sweep at all. When at 0 tone as expected then rolling on etc about 3 to 4ish it all comes in with no further noticeable change through the rotation of the knob.
