George c
I want to build a 150-200 dollars guitar do you think that cheap electronics like those are an option or are they completly unreliable? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Wiring-Harness-Kit-2-Volume-2-Tone-LP-3-Way-Switch-for-Gibson-Les-Paul-Guitar/292315268537?epid=538434895&hash=item440f5905b9:g:WoIAAOSwYVlZ-u7F#UserReviews
ADFinlayson
Well you could get it and if it works it works, if it doesn't you've only wasted £5. You get what you pay for with pretty much anything but there is no reason not to use a cheap components then replace them down the road when you want to improve. It's also a good lesson to be learnt in terms of upgrading a guitar - what makes the biggest difference and how to cost effectively make the best improvements.
