JohnnyG Posted March 5, 2004 Report Share Posted March 5, 2004 Currentlly: Kramer Striker custom series Old (probablly actually vontage seeing as its about 30 years old) tatra foreign folk guitar Half a strat lol(current Project) marshall jackhammer marshall MG15DFX what id want still want my current guitars (tho the strat finished of course) a semi hollowbody double cut away LPstyle thing (future project) a 7 string baritone scale behemoth with a sutainer and some oher electronics jappiery(also a future project) a whole host of FX (alot of which i can build myself), namelly Tube Screamer Tychobrahe-octavia Vox Reissue Wah Digitech Whammy an old analog delay pedal the newest boss digital delay probablly a few more but really anything that will be able to completelly mangle a guitar sound lol amps wise 2 Original Vox AC30s (one i would give to my dad along with a vintage red strat, he's a big Hank Marvin fan lol) a number of other amps all built by me styled after other vintage amps as you can see id much rather build all the stuff myself, just more fun that way if you're playing on a rig that you actually entirelly build from scratch Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

WISH LIST: Mostly just other basses, different types, more strings, etc. My amp makes me soil my pants so I don't even want another one!! Perhaps a crossover with different effects added, but that's just for fun. I'm really just looking to make the other basses that I want myself, but if I could just go out and buy them I guess they would be: Carl Thompson, whatever he wants to make I don't care 35" or 36" scale, maybe a 30" for fun. Hotrock Posted March 5, 2004 Report Share Posted March 5, 2004 Got now: Dodgy plywood start - in pieces all over the house Half finished Les Paul Double cutaway - in pieces all over the house Dodgy amp that came with dodgy plywood strat - soon to be in pieces all over the house 3/4 classical guitar that cost 12 GBP and hasn't had the strings changed for about 4 years (since new anyway) Want: Both guitars finished Build a decent strat 18W clone (TMB version) More effects pedels than you can shake a stick at. Vintage cort 26.5 sclae length tele sort of guitar.....with 1 working hum with only a little bit of potting left so it feeds back like a mother. the other hum is broken. I found this in a dumpster. but a lot of story behind this guitar. its seasoned to say the least. Korg Pandora (barely use) Marshall MG 100 watt head from ebay. Ibanez tone blaster 4x12 cab. pretty nice stuff. WANT: My custom jem! a nice archtop to tide me over. (jazz concert coming up.) My custom archtop. Wished for: Arctic White Standard Strat(I know, I'm easy to please). With a scalloped fretboard(yay!) and de-hummed pickups(double yay). ANYTHING with shredable gain, excluding my current amp. I haven't had a chance to put it back together since taking it on a trip. A few guitars are together, and I've been playing this one black Fender strat. I would like to eventually sell most of the more 'heavy metal ' guitars, to get the money to buy more strat parts, and build a few copies of my favorite strat. Main amp is a 60's Bassman head w/2x12 cab. There is currently a loose wire in the head, so I don't play the amp. I eventually want to sell the celestian vintage 30's in the cab and probably get a pair of Weber 10"s. old phase 90, that I'll keep. Home made "champ" that needs work. Homemade tube screamer that needs work. Korg dst-1 distortion that I don't really want. Real cheap cort bass, but I refretted it, so it really has done the job fine. Yamaha cassette tape 4 track recorder that really limits what I can do. I wish I would win some kind of home studio gear, that gives me tons of tracks and allows me to make a pro recording in my house. I would never want to have to pay to use a studio where it would be such an extreme "hit or miss" situation of whether things would come out on tape the way I want, in that limited time, with " the meter running" while doing it. Yeah and I'd need days to become 40 hours long to get time to even do this recording that I dream of. I probably should play guitar instead of always coming back on the computer every other hour. I'd also like to put an arch top on this old 70's epiphone fat-top acoustic that someone replaced the top on (with sh## plywood) , so I can have a 24.75 " scale full hollow body electric.
