Used vinyl on the top and truck bed coating to dbk the back and sides. I have a fixed bridge in the garage with clear epoxy on the top drying. That'll be the one i keep. This body will either sell here or jemsite or ebay. I havent decided to clear this one or not yet.

let me know what you think.

not sure if i should do the headstock as well on the one im keeping.

Not sure how much depends on how/if i clear the top. I dont have a ton of time into it. Its even easier than a fabric top if you do the vinyl right. I'd do a tutorial if there was anything to teach, and if i knew what i was doing.

Feel free to make offers.

The vinyl cost me $25 shipped for a whole roll. I still have enough left for a few more tops. This is all practice for a tele i think.

Heres what Ive found so far:

1. Doesnt matter how beat up the body is when "dbk"ing it.

2. Do the top last.(did it first on the one im keeping, much harder)

3. Lay the vinyl on then rough trim it about .25 to .5 inches out.

4. Use a new exacto blade, it think this stuff is metal based so use a few of them. Go slow dont be afraid of taking too little off its hard to put back on. What i did was angle the blade away about 45 degrees from the side and ride around the edge comming from the top.

Let me know if this is confusing.

It may not be cursed but i can tell you for sure it doesnt want to be swirled!

For the one Im keeping I may do bobbin toppers as well.
