AC shock...[/color][/quote]Reading is fundamental! As Mike Sulzer said, the cap provides no protection from AC electrocution, but blocks DC quite well. As for a resistor or a fuse, the human heart burns out faster than any fuse known to man. If you want to be completely safe, use an outlet tester on [b][i]every[/i][/b] outlet your equipment is plugged into (including PA, lights, etc - anything you might come into contact with), or use a wireless system, period.
