Yamaha...

This is the first guitar I owned. My Dad bought it for me for grading when I was 16. It was $200. That included the amp, too. lol It started it's life, white with a strat style bridge, chrome tuners and a black painted neck :-P After about 6 months the color was blah so I stripped the hardware off it and I bought some blue metallic car enamel and sprayed it. It turned out awesome, I replaced the hardware and was happy for a couple years with it (ie. till I was making some decent money lol) Then GAS set in.... SOOOOOO!!!! We tore her apart again. This time some major mods were in the works, including a Lo-Pro, Dimarzio pups( Tone Zone and Fast Tracks), new paint, Grover tuners. Not huge mods but it was only a $150CND guitar. Later I stripped and shaved the neck down. I always found it fat, so I pulled out the ol' pull scraper one afternoon and.... well, needless to say it's stripped and quite thin hehe.

Then last winter the final touches were put on it when I did a full scallop on the neck (thanx for the tutorials Brian. Made it a lot easier)
Ibanez RG7420BP...

This was bought in the fall of 2000. I bought it on impulse. I seen it, played it, loved it, bought it. That order. I must have got lucky on the trs thats on it. It never goes out of tune and nearly has the same feel as my lo-pro's.

If only it had the snap in bar and the looks of the lo-pro... :-)
Ibanez UV7BK...

I've always wanted a UV, ever since I seen the pics of them in PAW era guitar mags and in the cd cover. So this summer I found one and bought it. I haven't done any mods to it yet. I may scallop the last seven frets. I think some major modifications may be in the works!
