Dutch's Custom Double neck Machine

Project Guitar of the month April 2003

Some people have an idea they want to build their own one of a kind guitar
People such as Dutch desire twice the fun

Starting with a template he made using a kit guitar as a reference point Dutch wanted a double neck guitar so that he can play both guitar and bass.
Preparing the cavities with a plunge router then smoothing them out using home made templates is just part of the fun.
Making sure every little detail fit's properly while dreaming of the finished guitar in your hands.

Planning and finally reaching the finishing stages, Dutch had help from some buddy's at a piano rebuilding business that put a burnt orange translucent finish on it for him.
Named the Orange Julius the final assembly begins to take place on the prototype case in which it will be kept.
Just waiting for the final touch of a custom pick guard which is in production now.
