Project Guitar of the Month February 2003

|
It was made in Jan of 84, but junked at the factory. Cut across the body and headstock. A company called Bardsong (no longer in business) found a bunch of bodies and necks in various stages of completion over the years, laminated them back together, and sold them. I got the guitar from someone who started the project, primed it, installed the hardware (his major mistake, he got paint in the bushings for the stopbar and t-o-m) and then gave up. I stripped, sanded, fretted and put the rest together. EMG active electronics, 81 bridge and 60 neck. Spertzel locking tuners. Tung oil and beeswax finish. |

It was my first attempt at doing any of the construction of a guitar. I've mostly done electronic upgrades, and hardware. It was cool. You can see pix during the process on my gear page at: Pushead's List of Equipment and Stuff
