  1. New design we're trying out. A friend of ours from Thailand wants a guitar/bass doubleneck (bass on top, guitar on bottom). This is the body with most of the routes already done. The body is northern ash, because that's what we had laying around. We had to join two pieces together, and the seam might be marginally visible in the photos, but will be taken care of by the time finishing is done. Tell me what you think!
  2. We have a Milwaukee fixed 1 3/4hp router. Our local toolshop said 'I can't believe you bought that piece of crap', but it's been good to us. We use it solely as a fixed router under a table. We have a plunge router as well, but never use it. At least for us, if you build a good table, it'll do pretty much anything you want it do.
  3. My experience with HF used to be that, at least for electric tools, there was a 50% chance of my purchase still functioning a week after. But in the last year or two, I think the quality has gone up. I'm sure it's Chinese reverse-engineering actual quality, but who knows. We do have one of their spray guns. I wouldn't call it 'crap', but I would classify it as 'temperamental'. We had to spend a week with it to get to the point where we could make it do what we wanted it to do. But $20, versus $400 for a Binx or whatever: no contest. I'll take the $380 I saved and buy something else with it.
  4. Hey westheman and everybody else, Sorry to bust in on an old thread, but it being a forum, I figured I would chime in. Westheman, we do try to reply as soon as possible. Sometimes it's a matter of minutes, sometimes it might be at the end of the day if we're in the shop all day or whatever. If we missed an email from you, then I apologize. It might have been a case where I thought my brother replied, and he thought I replied. We do our best to respond to all queries, regardless of their content. But to reply to wolf, the majority of our products are imported from Korea. The company that supplies us also supplies a lot of the OEM guitar manufacturers. We have solid ebay feedback, and always try to find good products and give them to our customers a a bargain. BUT, if you buy something and don't like it, tell us! We have no problem with refunds provided that the item hasn't been abused, etc. As to your concern that the pictures don't match the actual item, the pictures that we have on our website are the actual item, and not stock footage from another site (for the most part). But thanks for checking us out. If yo need anything, feel free to ask!
