  1. sexybeast has a really good point . lucky there are always good people here who are welling to help out the lambs"noobs". i think the book could be a fun read, you can never have to many guitar books. plus this shows a few neat little tricks,i download it just to see what was all about.

  4. i been thinking alot latey about trying to make a 12 string electric guitar .any tips or ideas anyone have about making a 12 string? like any bodie type or wood that would work best ..

  8. yeah kinda quick idea, see i got few picese of wood that are kinda off but would work for this.
  9. get two 2'in picese of wood ,glue them together then route out the inner camber. then glue picese on top of that "dont forget to cut out your guitar small backpack style"cut your sound hole and attach your neck ..kinda like this would it make a good porch picker.
  10. haha i thought about that ..even now while remove blue paint and primer underneth went on perfect it looks like an old pair of blue jeans wash n faded .i was going to get some craft paint and do a pocket on front bottom.
  11. ok i tryed this a year ago ..gave up! i'm here to try again, i made telecaster bodie got all my holes drill right, then messed up while painting "it was winds fault really lol" anyway i'm following the guide for paint removel and i got one problem. when i messed up last time i threw the bodie across the yard it got a chip "small one" on the top edge. i figure just sand it out but what grain of paper to use and in that location what direction to sand ?

  13. i was building tele and i drilled pickguard screw holes..but i now want to do tele without pickguard..doing vintage look..how do fill those and paint over them?
