Guitar Electronics Books? (And May Be Pedals And Amps)
Bmth Builder replied to Bmth Builder's topic in Electronics Chat
That book looks great for amps and pedals, but there was only a couple of pages on guitars. Guitar electronics is my first priority, learning how to create complex circuits from scratch. -

Hi guys, I thought I read somewhere that neck angles are ergonomically better, Measuring 6 guitars without TOMs only half of them have neck angles, they are all fairly modern (presumably) CNC built guitars so the manufactures would have made a choice to have no neck angle. I've drawn up a neck through guitar with ABM single string bridges and they do not need a neck angle (in fact the ABMs are so low that I would have to thin the fretboard just to add a neck angle). So is there any ergonomic reason to add a neck angle or will it make the guitar play any better? Cheers Neil

The link in the OP says they start at like $1300 pretty cheap really.

Does anyone know of any really good thorough modern guitar electronics books? (preferably one that takes you from a complete beginner all the way to advanced stuff). Would also be nice to have sections on pedals, what components and circuits are creating what effects and how (may be even amp stuff, but not important). This book seems to be the best I've found so far, but various reviews have stated it as being very outdated, has anyone read it? http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0711902321/ref=asc_df_07119023218288070?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&tag=googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=0711902321 Cheers Neil
