take like little pieces of wood and put them inside the pickup cavities to raise it

if i was to paint a guitar, can i stick the body in the regular oven to speed up curing time? cause I know professionals have them in an oven to cure them, i was just wondering lol - Scott

Would it be plywood if I took a piece of a dark colored wood, and sandwiched it between 2 peices of basswood. This being the wood stacked atop eachother. FOR A BODY. I dont think im gunna do this, it just crossed my mind.... wow I have alot of spare time. - Scott

I understand this, but I usually play with both of the pickups selected. So the switch is in the center. So... there. MUAHAHAHAHA... sorry. - Scott

Well see, I would probably do that but I want to use a gift certificate to this guitar store around here, its for 150$, so i decided ide treat the v to a make over lol. And EMG's are out of the budget right now Ahh hell. Oh well.. I want something that doesnt use a battery, Im constantly leaving the cord plugged in, so it drains it. I have both pickups hooked up to one battery. - Scott

well the sound im going for is like a six feet under type distortion... There singer (if u want to call it that) is pretty cheesy but i like the guitar riffs and stuff. the are pretty simple but... I think that they just sound.... awesome lol. As for rsera. in my other guitar i have an emg 81 in the bridge and an emg 60 in the neck, its an ibanez RG 520 (european) with a quilted sapele top....whoa yea. And those pickups are my all time favorite pickups, but this guitar i dont want to have to spend 105$ a piece on, i would rather spend 105 for both pickups lol, and i want to vary the tones between the two guitars. I think its dumb to see people that have different guitars with the same pickups and the same string guage. for me haveing 2 different guitars means that i want to get 2 different tones, and tunings. JMO. -Scott

What pickup humbucker, and single coil, would be best for like a death metal sound. Im putting these in a Charvel Randy Rhoads V. And im looking for a high output pickups... I have an EMG 60 and 81 in my RG, and those pickups are perfect, but i need something for this guitar, that is phantom power, and doesnt cost so much. ... So just wondering what the best models are, so i can order them on up. Thanks - Scott

I dont know if anyone posted this, but the band Meshuggah uses 8 string guitars, and low tuned 7 strings. when they are playing it sounds like when u take a regular 6 string put 9's on it, and tune it to low-g tuning LOL. It amuses me how you have to downtune your guitar that much to make it "death metal". I mean come on. I play in E tuning, so, its all in your skill level . Heh... I sound like such a jackass lol. I got: 122 pc. Craftsman mechanics set 150$ gift certificate to a music store 3 t-shirts levy's guitar strap a neon guitar clock (kinda cheesy) a new (to me) drivers side mirror for my ranchero a ranchero licence plate and some colonge... Im satisfied lol BTW: Mines a freezer too! lol but if i need something done i can bare with it. its been warm lately about 45 degrees. Thats a first that i will say 45 is warm, but when its normally like 0 degrees at this time. Im happy! lol I can go out to get a tool or something, and not have worry about wondering if im gunna make it out of the garage alive lol. - Scott -
I need a Jackson or Charvel 22 fret neck with the floyd rose locking system. I would prefer it to have the tuners the nut, the string tree, and the truss cover. thanks- Scott All i have to trade is a H-H Ibanez RG body that needs to be painted lol

I need to know how to wire the pickups to the switch, there is a single coil, and a humbucker (2 wires), and just a volume, and a 3 way switch.

I hate floyd rose all together. I would rather tune from tuning machines. Its easier. Guitars are gunna be ugly now with out tuning machines. Dont try to change my opinion. I HATE FLOYD ROSE. >--ô¿ô--->

I have a Johnson strat, that i got for like 10 bucks, and the lead guitar player in my band has an old Arbor star and he wants to trade, the johnson is like new condtion, and the arbor has seen better days. but the star does have a set neck and bound neck and body, but its plywood, and the johnson is real wood and is a transparent green, but no binding... I dont know what to do

I would also like to tung oil an ibanez rg of mine.... I had it painted in january, but if your like me and you have band members like me, when you go to pack it in the car it either is jammed in, or you lap it, one day i chose to have grant jam it in,and he took a big ol'e chip out of it.. so i want to sand it all down and oil it... i like the natural, with oil, but they do seem to dent alot easier. - Scott

I have big hands, and I have an ibanez rg, its custom... but its got the wizard neck which is REALLY thin, but i like it. its easy to stand up and jam with... But I do like the fatter necks like on a PRS or a Gibson, but I really dont have a neck preference. - Scott PS.- If you get an ibanez... Get some EMG's
