nice on the headstock. I'm curious about the technique used to go from the gouge/spoon to being flat... some kind of thumb plane or spoke shave? Nicely done.

looks like it could be some kinda concept flamenco style guitar. Thats some fancy wood you put into it.. too bad its all hidden on the back of the guitar?

I'm hoping someone with a set of calipers has a fender deluxe pop-in style tremolo arm / whammy bar and can make a quick measurement for me. I'm going to try and make my own, but i need to know what diameter rod stock to buy

hats off to you sir for having the patience of job... i for one, would have made sure it knew what concrete tasted like as soon as it popped lol i think in the end it adds character to it. sometimes the imperfections are what make it unique - what would music sound like if an amp didnt fall out of a trunk 60 years ago? who knows, you could end up with a real wicked raspy blues guitar.

I hope posting personal ebay listings isnt against the rules... I pulled all my extras off my MIM strat to sell it, and selling off the left overs. always baffles me when artists of sorts have horrible, discusting websites. I second the lathe option... a good Jet mini lathe and a pile of pen kits can make you a bunch of extra money out of your scrap wood. I highly recommend anyone wanting to get into turning pens or similar items to check out the DVD "Turning Pens with Kip & Rex". it's by far the best inspirational instruction i've seen. scrap wood is fun, lots of cool things to do with it... art/sculpture pieces or make knife holders, business card stands, puzzle boxes (scroll saw), picture frames (router table), etc. just look through some of the project books at home depot and you're bound to find something that will spark your interest. heck if you get real bored... http://www.ferrariownersclub.co.uk/happeni...er/wood_f50.asp

i have a 24" vinyl plotter/cutter and a pen tip (that i dont use) for drawing/plotting... i'd be glad to try and get it to work if someone wants, just have to find a paper roll
