My stepson has an Ibanez guitar with jumbo frets. He'd like them to be more like the well-worn frets on my SG. Is this a good idea? How hard would it be, and what would we have to do? I've never been a fan of jumbo frets myself. I'm not sure why so many companies put them on their guitars.
