  1. how about what Frank Zappa did? put hot dots(small flat transducers) under each fret under the fretboard. interesting sounds...
  2. Thanks Brian! I live in Oregon, and Myrtlewood grows here. I've seen a couple of builders use it for acoustic guitars, as it is a tone wood. I recently picked up a beautiful piece of flamed Myrtlewood...enough for a couple of nice tops for solid bodies. I haven't worked with it yet, but it seems as hard as maple. I have a project in mind Brian, this forum section is a great idea...I hope to participate more, now that I know it's here. The main website has grown since I last visited, looks great....keep up the good work bro!
