anyone know if its even worth attempting to make a delay effects pedal or distotion pedal?! Ive just learnt how to do the cool wierd harmonic solos and stuff, but they dont sound that amazing without all the spinkee effects like wah wahs and delays...

no ground wire can give u a shock!? Eeeeep :o how big a shock are we talking bout? Me friends wasnt grounded and it just acted like an electric fence when u touched him with anything metal whilst he touched the strings.... or are we talking bout death?! /me grounds his guitar before he ends out fried :ph34r:

if its possible you may have blown the pickups so that anything u do wont work :-/ though dont ever trust me i know nothing about wiring. Is it possible to blow EMG81 pickups when wiring (just so i know wether i should crap my pants when wiring my new guitar)

gagh stuff that switch then the switch came with a body i bout off the net, but im gunna have to build a new one cus when i got my floyd rose trem this morning it didnt fit! So ill just make a new body, probably an explorer shape or something (existing shape is a Warlock)

Would they work in an EMG 81 setup? I've always wanted to make my guitar have a switch or control to turn down distortion without needing a pedal.....

Basically I'm making a new guitar, got it all sorted apart from the wiring which im a tad confused about... So far its a dual EMG 81 setup, 1 Volume, 1 Tone and 1 3 way flick switch, but then theres a wierd 2 way switch which i have no clue as to its purpose whatsoever... Also im not 100% sure on the wiring of this setup, so if this switch is useless ill either go for 2 Volume and 1 Tone or 1 Volume and 2 tone, but whats better? If that wierd switch does do something other than merely turn off a pickup, where would it go in this ciruit?-
