Im planning to use an active EMG Afterburner with my passive Seymour Duncan's. The Wiring Diagram says that this turns the pickup into a low impedance pickup up. Does that mean that I should use Low impedance Pots?

Ok my strap button just broke. It may be a stupid question but its never happened to me before. Any one know how to fix it. The screw just pulled itself out of the hole.

Yah Im planing to build one. Im planning to build a V in the shape of the one on your profile pic. One of the major reasons that I was asking was because I like to use a EVH D-Tuna and I had to take it off my old guitar with a recessed route because it was digging a hole in the finish beneath D-Tuna when ever I Pulled up.

I'm just wondering what people think about the recessed and non recessed routings for a floyd rose. Which one do you guys think is better?

I could do a rotary switch were the regular toggle switch is.

I might just do something like a simplified version of what I was saying before but without the cold taps.
