  1. so its 6 pm on sunday and all of the hardware stores are closed and i was restringing my guitar and i stripped the screw that goes into the locking nut on the top of my fretboard. so..im looking arund my house for some kind of substitute i can put in to replace it temporarily and i was wondering if anybody in here knew of some kind of household object that would contain that specific size screw. thanks.
  2. i currently own the head, sounds killer, thats a great deal
  3. im probably gonna sound dumb for saying this, but why didn't you just email the seller and ask?
  4. pshh... go with the dimebag setup
  5. I'm putting an EMG 81 and an 85 on my guitar, which i think are both active. How many battery boxes do i use for them? im thinking 2 since theres 2 active pickups but can i just use 1? thanks.
  6. i called my local music store and told them that i wanted to put an emg 81 and 85 in my guitar that currently has emg-hz's. As you can tell, that is a switch from passive to active pickups. They told me that the pickups would cost around 100 each and the installatino would be at least 100. All together around 300. Is this a fair price? Thanks. also, if anyone knows where to get cheap installations or cheap emg's let me know thanks.
  7. I need to sell my dirtbike to get this sweet guitar. Its a 2004 Honda CRF70 only driven in the backyard, and works like new. No tire wear Make me an offer. http://powersports.honda.com/motorcycles/o...ModelId=CRF70F5
  8. Correct... if the processor in your pc is not up to speed (especially as Guitar rig is Processor intensive) you will lag behind and get annoyig echo... Go and throw a LOT of ram into your pc.. that ** Should ** Help a little... Alternativly get a new pc and make sure it has LOTS of ram and procesisng power... expensive but if your going to do recording via your pc... its needed really... Also a nice soundcard will help... the more frequenceies it supports the better Hope it all helps Slain Angel ← I've got 512 MB Ram and 1.7 Ghz processor, more than needed to run the program according to the website, i'll try tweaking it though thanks.
  9. I downloaded the demo of guitar rig, i plugged my guitar into my sound card via a transfer piece (1/8-1/16) or whatever the guitar plug size is to the headphone jack size. I open up guitar rig, and i hear my guitar but everything is delayed and it echoes. It sounds like delay is automatically on and i have fooled around with it i cant figure out what the problem is. I turned off all effects and stuff, it still made the problem. I have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card which isnt bad, it should be able to hand this program. can anyone help me? thanks.
  10. i have a bunch of hair scratches as well as a few deeper ones and i was wondering if anybody knows of a polish/wax that removes everything. thanks.
