    Wish I had a good answer for you. I figure with time the magnets will lose some of it's magnetism. I know the pickups in my '78 Ibanez Artist are still screaming.

    Hi everyone, I'm Rick from Derry, NH. Bass player mostly but I do play some guitar (badly) sa well. I am have always wanted to build my own guitar and I found this site. You folks and very knowledgable and am looking forward to your tutilige. Mostly right now I am buying crap off ebay and rebuilding and custom painting but hoping soon to actually "build" my first.
