  9. Sounds like you missed a few steps. Like the 400, 1500, there is also an 800 and a 2000. They are progressive for a reason. Each is to remove the last ones scratch marks at a slow progressive rate. I would go to 2000 grit progressively before even thinking about buffing and polishing, but that's just me. I prefer to use Micromesh after the 2000 grit before even using a buff wheel. JUst my .02 cents. MK

  15. In a few words, Lacquer will not stick to poly or vice/versa. You will either need to remove the poly to use the lacquer or use poly with the tint. I know that's not what you wanted to hear but, Poly and lacquer are not compatible. Here's wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving. Mike
  16. Ding Dang it where's my toasted marshmallows? I was so looking forward to them.
  17. What's with that? No weenie roast or toasted marshmallows? Man what is wrong with your friend. I mean really letting a good fire go to waste and not having a party. At the very least some hot chocolate. ))))) MK
  18. So , If I'm reading this right, you are 1/2" to long? If so then check if a 25.5 scale will work within the + or - tolerance for your application. It would be much easier to change the fretboard than fill and reroute the body. But you will have a 20 maybe 21 fret board. If I didn't read it correctly, then disregard my suggestion
  19. Thanks Rich, The bender is a friends as well as the form so I can't be to picky about his choice of size. I will be making my own bender and forms soon. So I will definitely take your suggestions into consideration. Again many thanks. MIke
