  1. Fender is offering an Incase-produced gig bag with the John Mayer Strat. It's not the Tour Bag, but similar to their other offering, with a big ol' Fender F on it. The Tour Bag sure does appear to be the Cadillac (or in this case, the Lamborghini) of all tour bags. The upper end Ritters are nice as well.
  2. Hmm.....I'd be a tad concerned on how that would apply to the saddles.....wouldn't want to gum them up, but of course you'd coat those individually off the body of the bridge itself. Had any experience with this?
  3. Can't find one anywhere......and would be willing to pay a modest finder's fee to a lead that turns into a successful purchase.
  4. I've sinced learned that due to the odd string spacing of the SAT30, there really isn't a suitable replacement that wouldn't require re-reouting the trem cavity. So what's the best method for recoloring the bridge? Powedercoating, or some other process?
  5. Any way you could get an Ibanez SAT30 tremolo in black? They only offer a chrome model on their website.
  6. Back in the Powerslave era, Adrian Smith was using various Les Pauls, SGs, Ibanez Destroyer, and some Lado model guitars. Dave Murray has always used a Strat with bridge humbuckers, and a custom Bradshaw rig. I think a lot of it had to do with Martin Birch's production.
  7. recently got an Ibanez SA160 model guitar, which comes equipped with the Ibanez SAT30 tremolo. Looking at their website, it doesn't appear that they offer that tremolo in a black model. I was wondering if any of the Wilkinson or Gotoh tremolos would be an effective replacement with major modifications or routing? I'd really like a black one just for the aesthetics, but I'm wary of having a local shop plate it black.
