  1. It will be pore filled and finished with the Danish oil / carnauba wax, excepting fret board who gets the satin poly finish for better protection.
  2. My first bass was the 30" Les Paul bass copy. The only detail I don't liked was the terrible neck dive, otherwise I'd kept it. Anyway, I am one of those anti-sustain guys. Foam mutes forever
  3. I don't remember how much I paied... Something like 30 Euros for the set of 4. Found them on ebay. Thinking.... No, looks like they arn't the real hipshot ultralights, too cheap
  4. I tried, it doesn't work The tuners are "hipshot lic". Does it mean they are "true" Hipshots or just licenced by Hipshot (like "Duncan desined" pickups aren't the true duncans)?
  5. Cannot wait to see it finished!
  6. Basically: bolder attack, lesser definition (more "muddiness"), shorter sustain. But between the 34" and 32" there won't be so much difference as between 34" and 30". My idea was to create the bass strung with roundwounds to sound a little bit more like flatwounds keeping the feel of roundwounds.
  7. Verhoevenc, do you have the link to this documentary? Is it on the forum or the main site? thank you!
  8. My B&D had 3 collets: 6mm, 8mm and 1/4". Or you can buy conversion aftermarket collets too
  9. Check routerbitworld.com too, great prices, good quality.
  10. I newer tested this one, but it looks funny: Zvex Nanohead
