  1. Wow! I really love that ES335! As for your residue on the F-hole sides. Take a toothbrush wih some water and see if you can clean it a little. I had a 60's ES335 with some residue over the years there and I was able to clean it up like that. Wasn't perfect but I was happy with it. Your work like I said before on these two are very inspiring. I plan on doing my own ES335 after the new year. I thank you again for the link and this thread. Al
  2. Great job so far! Looking like it will be a serious player! How about a dragonburst top with the back see through blue and the neck natural in color? Natural binding on the body to seperate the top from the body. That would look great with the wood choice you did and shouldn't be too hard if you went with maybe using Duplicolors Metalcast rattle paints for your colors. I am about to do a Firebird restore and I am I thinking about that myself so it's on the brain.
  3. Thanks ! Glad you decided to join ! The laminated parts were sourced from here. Thank you Blackdog for the link. Looking forward to see these fiddles of yours completed!
  4. is this still available? would you be interested in some trading? my phone number is *251*284*ZeroThreeSixFive
  5. Did this one get finished? Like the looks of where it was going. You last question was the knob placement. I would of dropped them lower like you siggested on doing and doing the side input via a tele.
  6. I have been a looky loo for quite awhile here and joined today just because of this thread. Great work! Exciting read on this build thread! I don't know if this was mentioned on here but where did you get the 335 kit, may I ask? It something I would like to build soon. Thank you!
