Hey all,
I'm a guitarist from South Africa that has just started the planning stages on two builds that I'd like to create over the next year or two, I figured this would be a great place to join in on in order to gain and hopefully share knowledge, and maybe a little guitar porn when it's ready
I've been playing for about 6 years, I've worked in musical instrument stores for about 5 and done repair and tech work for about 3 years. Currently I work as a telephonic sales rep for a rather large guitar brand and take on the odd setup/repair every once in a while for extra income.
I'd like to build these guitars just for the sake of having fun and learning a bit more about my favourite instruments along the way. The first one will be 7 string and the second will hopefully be a more challenging 8 string build, cause I play those things
Anyway I look forward to learning from all of you lovely people and hopefully being able to share my limited experience and stories
