Howdy all! New to this forum and the guitar building world sort of.
I'm a bit of an artist and have wanted to do a custom electric build for a while now. I was given a broken down strat a few months ago and decided it'd be a good platform. I've painted the body and all but I'm looking for a way to make the neck a satin or matte black. I've heard spray painting the neck is a bad idea due to the oils in your hands. I'm going to dye the fret board with leather dye as I've seen that personally and like The look. Any suggestions on how to get the neck snd head stock as black as possible? Thank you all!
