Hello, I'm working on a 7 string ibanez universe-type build. Currently, the neck is finished in some sort of tru/tung oil (even the headstock). My idea was to paint the headstock black and apply my logo to it (sticker type, not water slide). My question is - would it be enough to scuff the face of the headstock and spray it directly with black spray paint or is primer needed in this case? //Jo
