I'm planning to add binding to a routed channel on an unbinded Epiphone build and wanted to double check something. First off I was planning on using superglue. I've not heard great things about glues like BindAll (SM) and other adhesives more naturally associated with wood to wood contact, does this correlate with general experience? Secondly my plan was to use low-tac masking tape to hold the softened (heat gunned) binding in place while the adhesive set - logic tells me there's a risk the superglue might also act on sticking the tape to the guitar body and binding, are there any tips for avoiding this?
