Think i could actually make a decent guitar out of those things?
i was thinking i could..
-switch necks with a jackson reverse headstock neck
-replace the s-s-s with a h-s-h (into the pickguard)
-color the pickguard
think i could accomplish such things?
im looking for just a goodlooking guitar to put up on the wall
Are there any cheaper woods(less then 100)
that could be used for a guitar that are light in weight
im not really going for tone, since itll mostly always be distorted
thanks.
pleaase
i thought i would need to abandon my own project
but with this router
all will be well.
EDIT: Posted: Oct 18 2003, 09:47 PM hey it says you posted that deadline 4 hours after it hit deadline..
Ok so i decided to get the 2 in 1 knob thing from warmoth, so i figure i could install a killswitch into the second knob hole to totally cut off the sound of the guitar
this allows me to cut off connection of the guitar during silent parts in songs without having to do volume swells
is there some kind of kill switch i could wire that is springloaded and will work with audio?
thanks
alright
well to be on the safe side i got some sealer, grey primer, rustoleum in black, then the black laquer, then some aerosol polyurethane
not sure hwat finish to use yet.
Ok so i just got this terribly ugly orange and finished body
so i sanded her down to the wood
and i have some black furniture laquer labeled black gloss
do you think i could just use this right now without the use of a primer or sand sealer since i want it to be black and its not open grained?
thanks.
are there any veneer type things that are made black to replace the idea of painting?
or am i just confused..
and is there anything i can do to change the color of my fingerboard to black?
