  1. theres always Bill Lawrence Pickups which are dang cheap I got a set of basically dimebuckers for 107.50 after shipping. not bad for a pickup thats $99.00/piece through seymour duncan
  2. looks like a washburn/dean dimebag sig too me all the way down to the finish cool guitars though and the Rhoads V style bottom sounds extremely cool.
  3. "Also- Free shipping to any US military base (Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, Venezuela, Selfridge Air force Base, etc) upon the following conditions: The person receiving the router table send clear pictures/video back of the table being destroyed by superior force, i.e. tank shelling, hellfire missile attack, shooting sheet with an anti-aircraft gun, or some sort of awesome display of military power, or even a pic of their whole company dancing around a bonfire which contains the router table. Three Cheers to the US Military / Coast / National Guard! I'll drink to that." lord help me I cant breathe I'm laughing so hard
  4. thats almost scary lol anyways thanks for the quick responses guys might have to go with those for my current project.
  5. ok I was messin around with a PRS at guitar center...noticed there wasnt a toggle switch got confused started turning knobs....one was...ratchet like which makes me think that its a toggle switch hidden in a knob I tried it on 4 or 5 others to make sure it was a very busted pot lol but I couldnt plug one in cause I was in something of a hurry anyways I was wondering if it really is the PRS toggle switch I(knob...whatever) and if so how do they do that.
  6. I'm looking for some blue inlay material I dunno if it needs o be mop or abalone or what just lookin for some decent ideas wasnt too impressed by anything on the supplies page.
  7. Tracer lathe is what your lookin for for the lathe term and it sounds to me like your talkin about a smaller version of a duplicarver
  8. (cough, hack) LATHE (cough cough cough) I dunno making clay molds....doesnt sound like fun when I can knock out a metal one in 10 minutes flat even if you came up with a design I machine shop would probably knock you one out for nothing just an idea you didnt really specify what the knobs needed to look like my .02
  9. I cut my body on a scroll saw no problem...granted it was a $2800 hegner and my body was a piece of 1" mahogany and a piece of 1" maple but either way it cut it no problem and I cut templates on it I think for my neck I'm gonna be usin a bandsaw it all honesty though.
  10. www.stewmac.com has 'em too I think they only carry them for gotoh...maybe eh just ignore me.
  11. BILL LAWRENCE all the way cheap and sound awsome gotta love them
  12. if its shedua your lookin for a place in portland, ore called crosscut hardwoods has about 2 metric tons of the stuff I was staring blankly at it today lol they also have more black limba than any other place I've seen man I love the pacific northwest lol .
  13. eh i dunno...hmmmm.....4 years on and off mostly off havent really played seriously in over a year but I'm buildin one the irony....
  14. no clue what your gluing up but if its a blank for something i just kick it through a planer or a thickness sander depending on which neighbors home lol, and I think titebond 2 is waterproof but I know that original titebond if water soluble its worth a try at least but hell I've only ever used original titebond so just ignore me lol .
  15. similar he uses it for top carving and its a plane with a wooden handle stickin out the back those look like they might do it though.
