    fixed up monkey grip. Started contouring on other side. Contours on the arm rest showing slowly. the "vine thing" where all ridges will join together is not very apparent right now. but the inside and outside ridges are going to join with the monkey grips ridges and horns ridges. Monke grip isnt quite done, but you can see the cut inward. Looks interesting. tell me what you think of the new contours. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/481911

    yeah i got some new wood worked a little on that wretched monkey grip. it looks sort of decent now. but goddamn it i made the grip too big. sooooo i'm going to have to sand it in such a way that makes it look a little smaller and I'm going to do some binding on the inside to make it look smaller.     i've heard luck with a PVC pipe and a regular clothing iron with a steamer. Try your local luthier. they know what they are talking about most of the time NOT TO SAY PEOPLE ON THIS SITE DONT! they really do. but a local luthier bent a piece perfect in 10 minutes right in front of me with a pvc pipe and an iron. ask them!

    dont call me spoot. who are you from jemsite. and 2 i only had a dremel. I'm going to fix it with a spindle sander. no it isnt harder to glue because the back isnt carved. the back being the part of the guitar that is attaching to the midsection and back. I dont apprecialte the people on jemsite being such bastards to me i wish you would give that up.
