	First thing you need to do in order to make this easy is to trim around the outside of the anchor getting rid of any paint which may be covering the metal anchor
Wrap a piece of masking tape or a towel around the end of your trem post. If you use tape go around it several times to form a protective cushion.
	Grab on to it with a pair of pliers and gently start pulling up in the direction it needs to come out, do not try to wiggle it back and forth because this may damage either the cavity in which it is mounted or the trem post and anchor themselves.
Now that it is out, repeat for the other side and remove the tape from your trem post.
