| Many of the guitar bodies today will accommodate a TRS trem but they won't accept a Edge/LoPro Trem. Each make and model is different and some very from production date to production date on the same model. This tutorial is written to cover any guitar body that is already equipped with a recessed floating tremolo. |

Start out by placing your new trem in the cavity so see where any body wood needs to be routed away. Check the trem post spacing as well since you may have to plug the original holes before drilling for the Edge/LoPro trem post anchors. Mark the area's off that need to be routed away using masking tape for your guide. |
| Place the new Edge/LoPro trem anchors directly over the existing trem post's and judge the clearance available before you get started. |

Using a block and towel to guard the finish on your body, pull the old post's and anchors out carefully. |
| With a 7/16" Drill bit mark the distance you need to drill into the body using one of your new trem anchors as a guide and a piece of masking tape wrapped around the bit itself. |

Align the bit against the original holes before you fire up your drill press and then enlarge the original holes for the new anchors. |
| Cover up any area of the body with masking tape and paper to avoid any surface scratches and measure the depth of your trem cavity. Then adjust the depth of your router bit to match it. |

Route off the area's that would be in the way of the Edge/LoPro trem once it is assembled into your guitars body. |
| Using a wooden dowel or something similar tap the new trem post anchors into the body. They should go in fairly easy so if you run into any difficulty, pull them back out and check the hole for bur's or obstructions. |
