Is this normal?

Yea...i got one of those stupid saga kits from torres engineering. and im really pissed off. theres this light spot on the body and i dunno what it is. i dont really wana paint over it becuase i may come out darker. is this becuase they messed up with the sanding sealer or soemthing?

well if you paint over it in a solid color it shouldnt show through at all. so if your thinking of a solid color it should be fine

nooo im doing it metalcast as a base then im gunnna clear coat it

lol its spray paint....Its made by Dupli Color. And its tinted

so its gives an anodization spray paint (i looked it up), but it still gives a solid color,( in otherwords none of the wood shows through,) so it should be fine

also, metalcast is designed to be used on metal surfaces, just so you know

NO NO NO NO NO silly goose lol it gives a tinted blue look. so u can stil lsee the grain, but it looks blue...in other owrds it looks like the wood is dyed blue

yes it is, but it still works great on wood, check out litch's pics of the wood he sprayed metalcast on in this thread

yea...thats the post i started!!! and it looks super duper cool on wood.. i tried it on some scratch veneer but iwent to heavy on like hte 3rd coat

wowwwwey! that seems so swell im shaking in my boots, beaver! ya, anyways, since you tried it out, that wold mean you know what to put under it, ive never used sanding sealer, is that the stuff you use? if not what do u use?

Uhhh. no wen i tried it out i used a scrap 2x4 lol. But im spraying it on top of a sanding sealer
