The grey wire at the bottom is 2 wires wrapped in one wire insulator. Im not sure what it is?

I'm not either - is that a standard 3-way (Gibson) switch, where and how does the other end of the gray wire hook up, and what's the control setup (2 tones, 2 volumes, or what)?

Yea its a standard 3 way, its 1 volume and 1 tone and the other end of the graywire hooks up to te bottom and one of the prongs for the volume pot

In that case, it could easily be correct - does it work right? If it's working, I'd consider it done - if it's causing problems, take a look at

this diagram:

2 Humbuckers, 3 Way Toggle, 1 Volume, 1 Tone

That should make it easier to troubleshoot.

The ground wire and the wire connecting the pots to the switch are wrapped together in the same colored wire insulator. Atleast thats what i can see from the schemetic.

Yes, that should be shielded cable. Connect the switch end of the shield braid to the terminal marked ground on the switch, and the other end to your ground point (usually the back of the volume pot - solder directly to the case). The insulated wire connects to the middle switch lug and the left lug on the volume pot (if the pot shaft is facing you). Am I helping here, or just digging you a bigger hole? If I'm making things more confusing, speak up, please.

No everything is clear. All the wiring stuff you just told me is hooked up rite. i just wasnt sure what the 2 wires in the gra yinsulator was, but now i know.
