Vintage Frets

Recommended Posts

around .037" - .045" tall, about .078"-.085" wide, you got your typical vintage Fender, martin, etc (even some gibsons) fret-wire.

Bring the width to around .102" - .110" and it's your vintage "jumbo". (Gibson)

Then later the "jumbo" came in taller sizes. and some a little wider too.

Then even later they made tall sizes more narrow too.

Stew-Mac 155 is a great size in my opinion.

I'll order a few pounds, pick out 4 popular sizes, then of course, with my luck, someone wants the one size that I thought " nah, nobody's gonna want that size again "
