ArgusVonWillsworthIII Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 i bought a cheap explorer copy, and i want to do the following: Remove neck pickup remove pots/knobs turn three way toggle into a killswitch and of course, wire the bridge pickup straight to the jack. I have a good amount of experience with soldering and electronics, just little experience with guitar wiring. anyone have any tips/suggestions/diagrams etc? thanks Quote
lovekraft Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 Disconnect the neck pickup from the switch and wire the hot wire from the toggle switch (the one that's currently connected to the volume pot) directly to the output jack. You don't even have to take any of the unused pieces loose, so if/when you decide that you'd like more than one sound, all you have to do is rewire. Quote
